Andre' Boucher is one ambitious 10 year-old. He has volunteered for art projects in the Family Center and contributed materials for the Blue Elephants Arts & Literacy program for children.

One morning, Andre' woke up and told his mother Toni, "I am going to raise $10,000 for Crisis Ministries."

On May 20, 2006, Andre' held a fundraiser at his home to begin raising money for the shelter. He asked guests to bring a treasured dessert and a check book. At the party, Andre' and his mother showed a Power Point presentation about Crisis Ministries and Andre' made a speech.

So, far, Andre' has collected over $750. He has been nominated by friends as Channel 4's Student of the Month. Another family is helping him set up a website to keep his fundraising going.
